Scotland in the New Age of Disruption- Gerry Hassan

Posted by on 9 September, 2017 | 0 comments

Our June speaker is the brilliant author, Dr. Gerry Hassan.

Scotland has undergone a helter skelter ride in recent years – disorientating and dismaying some while filling others with euphoria and the hope of far-reaching change.

What are the causes and implications of such change? Does it mean Scotland is inexorably heading for the exit door of the UK and independence, or is it about wider societal changes? Whatever happens in the future a return to normalcy and order seems unlikely in Scotland – and indeed across much of the West.

Join Dr. Gerry Hassan, author of Scotland the Bold and author and editor of numerous books including a forthcoming assessment of the SNP’s ten years in office.

Wine reception to follow.
